“Used to cultivate uranium in lake beds ”? Previously I thought you mined uranium. Now I know better, and I can imagine life down on the old uranium farm, Cherenkov radiation shinin g bluely out the barn door, with the two-headed chickens all running and clucking about the yard .

That is super cool. There’s a ‘59-’61ish  4x4 Ford panel around here in similar condition with period radioactive placards painted on it, really faded. Wonder if it was in similar service.
